In the first of their two games this month, Ben Futcher's team secured a well-deserved victory with goals from Will Alves and Dane Scarlett.
England quickly took the lead when Alves scored after eleven minutes, marking his return to international play after being injured for over a year.
Alves aimed from just outside the area and found the top corner, putting his team ahead.
Sweden had their chances too, with Kaelan Casey clearing an effort off the line and both Tim Prica and Jacob Ondrejka attempting long-range shots to lob Jed Ward, but neither hit the target.
England maintained the majority of possession to keep their lead at halftime.
Interim head coach Futcher made several substitutions early in the second half.
The Young Lions doubled their lead just before the hour mark when captain Dane Scarlett scored from close range after fending off several challenges in the box.
Deniz Gul pulled a goal back for Sweden with a minute remaining, but England held on to their lead to secure the victory.
