**ALAMO, Tenn.
(Gray News)** - Amy Slaton Halterman, known from TLC's reality TV show, was arrested in Tennessee on Labor Day after an incident involving a camel bite reportedly led to a drug bust inside her vehicle.
According to the Crockett County Sheriff's Department, deputies were called to the Tennessee Safari Park in Alamo, Tennessee, on Monday after a guest was bitten by one of the park's camels.
Upon arriving at the guest's vehicle, deputies were immediately overtaken by suspicious odors coming from the car, which contained Halterman, Brian Scott Lovvorn, and two children.
After some discussion, the deputies decided to search the vehicle and found 2 ounces of marijuana and what they believe to be mushrooms, classified as a Schedule I substance, according to Sheriff Troy Klyce.
Both Halterman and Lovvorn face charges of possessing Schedule I and Schedule VI substances and two counts of child endangerment.
Law enforcement reported that two children under the age of 10 were in the car when the drugs were found.
The children are now with a family member while the Department of Human Services investigates the incident.
The judge set the bond for Halterman and Lovvorn at $10,000 each on Tuesday, and both were released after posting bond that afternoon.
The co-owner of the Tennessee Safari Park, Claude Conley, expressed doubt that the injury was caused by a camel bite.
'We looked at the bite, and it didn't look like a camel bite to me,' Conley said.
'It was just on the top of the arm, and if a camel bit, it would kind of bite down on there.
We don't think the customers were in their right mind at that time.
