Christy Moore, Clare Dunne, Pat Kenny, Victoria Mary Clarke, and Damien Dempsey were among the Irish stars who walked the red carpet at the Dublin premiere of Kneecap's DJ Próvaí.

Mo Chara and Móglaí Bap took over the Lighthouse Cinema in Dublin on Wednesday evening for the premiere of their self-titled origin story.

Joining the hip-hop trio on the red carpet were their co-stars Simone Kirby, Fionnuala Flaherty, and Jessica Reynolds, as well as a host of well-known faces.

Earlier this month, the Irish Film & Television Academy (IFTA) announced that the award-winning Irish-language film has been chosen as Ireland's entry for the Best International Feature Film category at the Oscars, following in the footsteps of previous Irish entries.
