Country music star Lisa McHugh has joyfully announced the safe arrival of her second child, a baby girl named Hallie.

The Scotland native, who has been living in Ireland for over a decade with her husband Nathan Khan, shared the happy news on social media on Tuesday evening.

Hallie was born unexpectedly last Friday night, and Lisa expressed her excitement about introducing her to her two-year-old son, Milo, who she described as the best big brother in the world.

Lisa thanked the doctors, midwives, nurses, and staff at both The South West Acute Hospital and Altnagelvin Hospital for their incredible care and support.

She mentioned that she would share more details in time but is currently just grateful to have her little angel here.

The arrival of Hallie comes just weeks after Lisa made a significant change in her successful music career.

She recently released a new album, 'Black Mountain Sessions,' featuring a fully acoustic setlist.

The five-track album includes Lisa's unique twist on 'Falling' by former One Direction star Harry Styles and Newsboys' classic 'Magnetic.

' Recorded at the stunning Black Mountain Studios in The Cooley Mountains, the album showcases a stripped-back, intimate set of fan favorites from her recent Top 5 album 'Watch Me,' released last October.

In an interview last month, the 36-year-old singer shared her excitement about taking some brief time off to be with her family after a busy few months.

She mentioned that she has been working on new material and traveled to Nashville for songwriting for her next album, which is due out later this year.

Lisa plans to return to work soon after the birth of her second child, unlike her longer break during her first pregnancy with Milo.

She expressed her gratitude for her supportive husband, Nathan, who is a hands-on dad, and her son Milo, who is eagerly anticipating the arrival of his baby sister.
