A photograph of Latrell Mitchell that has been circulating on social media has been referred to the NRL integrity unit.

The photo, which appears to show the NRL star standing over a table with a white substance on it, was reportedly taken over the weekend.

'The South Sydney Rabbitohs have been made aware of a photograph circulating through social media of Latrell Mitchell following a personal appearance in Dubbo on the weekend,' a statement from the NRL club said.

Mitchell reportedly attended rugby league games in the local Peter McDonald Premiership and participated in coaching clinics in Dubbo over the weekend.
